behold thje queen of style

First of all, the large Derpy isn't a custom, she's the Comicon exclusive pony and was a present from a very dear friend ^_^ Filly Derpy was made in return for her as a birthday present, and since she arrived at her destination two days ago I can finally post this! I wanted to get a picture of them together before sending her off though~

The filly has been painted with acrylics and rehaired via transplanting the mane and tail from an Applejack figurine. Since the large Comicon Derpy doesn't come with accessories, I made her some of my own. Can you recognize them? ;)

If you're interested, I start with a base of Martha Stewart's satin craft paint in Jacaranda (you can get it at Michael's), then add little bits of white and black until it's just desaturated enough. You'll want the wet paint to be slightly too light in colour, because it darkens as it dries. Hope this is helpful! :3
