This lovely girl was commissioned by someone on the MLP Arena. I was a little sad to see her go, but her new owner really loves how she turned out so that makes me happy.

Blah blah blah painted with acrylics and rehaired with Dollyhair's Virgin Snow & Sour Grapes. This time I sealed her with Testor's Dullcote instead of the Mod Podge, and colour me impressed! I got the smoothest, satiny finish ever and it didn't dull any of the colours

That stuff rules!

What kind of brush do you use for those STUNNING eyes?? I'm just starting out with customs and even my smallest brush gets sloppy.

I use the smallest round brush that they sell at Michael's, and water down my paint a little bit so it flows more like ink. If you want your bristles to stay nice and pointed, make sure paint never touches the metal part or dries onto the brush.

I keep a baby food lid filled with water and rest the brush on a slightly raised object. That way, the bristles stay wet but aren't smashed into the bottom of the lid. Hope this helps!
